The Ministry of Energy, Northern Development and Mines is responsible for assisting economic development in the Northern Ontario region from Pays Plat First Nations to Manitouwadge. They support the mineral industry by providing it with valuable information about the province’s geology. It also delivers and administers Ontario’s Mining Act to improve the investment climate for mineral development. We are located in the MNR building on Highway 17.
