Access: Hydro Bay W., Cottage Rd. off Highway 17 (7 km E of Schreiber) & Worthington Bay Rd. (4.5km E of Schreiber).
Highlights: Wilderness area, Les Petits Ecrits, Tombolo, Seiche, Indian Pictographs from the parking lot to Worthington Bay-5 km (60 min walk) 4X4 road only. Caution - this is the most rugged section of trail and is not recommended for children under 10. The name, ‘Death Valley’ refers to the ease with which Ojibwe perched on the rim of surrounding hills shot moose and caribou below.

Mise en garde – section la plus accidentée du sentier. Non recommandé pour les enfants de moins de 10 ans. Le nom « Death Valley » désigne la facilité avec laquelle les Ojibways se perchaient au bord des collines environnantes pour chasser au fusil les orignaux et caribous plus bas.
